    Definitely not better with a healthy pens team. Imagine if Malkin was fully healthy. Pens had some injury issues by later in the series against the caps. Caps had the better goalie that won them some games. Cap fans act like they just won the cup and are so happy finally beating the pens lol Only to get stomped on by Tampa this upcoming series.

    Imagine if Burakovsky was fully healthy. Imagine if Oshie was fully healthy. Imagine if we had Wilson the last three games. Imagine if we had Backstrom the last game. Don't even know if he was playing tonight.

    Chandler Stephenson was our 1C that game. There's no excuses. The only things that separate us from teams in the past is puck luck and capitalizing on our chances, which we've never done. We've just stuck around 2-1, 2-2, 3-2, etc. We weren't playing teams, we were withstanding them.

    This is a different team.

    so the vegas knights made it to the stanley cup finals in their first season. that's very surprising. typically expansion teams aren't that good right away. did anyone actually see this coming?

    I bet there’s a few Vegas (most likely drunk) fans that said kinda sarcastically at the start of the year something bout winning the cup right away but that’s about it.

    If they end up winning it all, I’ll be curious to hear if any casinos report anyone cashing in a ticket on a bet they made before the season lol. Seems hard to believe but I bet someone did it just cuz the odds were like 300/1 or 500/1 or something.

    my friend's coworker put 100 bucks on them at 500-1 at the start of the season just for s----s while he was in Vegas.
