If he does that amount of sales first week, despite supporting trump and his slavery comments , everybody in the rap industry will also make albums with 7 tracks only . Since , like someone said before , less tracks on an album makes it easier to sell because of streaming. Ye about to change the rap game again

Jun 3, 2018 Nah, album streams are calculated as 1 album sale every so many song streams. So loading your album with 30 songs is the more effective way to guarantee more streams overall. A shorter album kind of defeats that purpose. Of course, making an album that people want to play over and over is still the most effective way to get stream sales. So maybe a shorter album incentivizes relistening more than long, bloated ones. Maybe it is a counter intuitive way of taking advantage of the system.
