If it wasn't for Eminem...Dre would not be as successful as he is imo...yes hes talented but before Em signed with Dre was whatever at that point of his career (After Death row, trying to start Aftermath)....Kanye connecting with Jay-Z also blew him up....50 Cent connecting with Eminem....there's plenty of great producers who are just as good as Kanye/Dre - don't get the same respect

i would say dre would have been pretty famous even without em just as a producer hes been on so many albums tv shows movie soundtracks movie scores (badboys2 the wash etc)

I just realized that I haven't listened to any of Eminem's music since Caterpillar came out. Which was a month ago. Usually I listen to a song or two of his every now and again, but I completely lost interest in all his stuff.

Of course there's no hype for an Eminem concert in the maintstream.

Em is a niche rapper now, he's not a superstar anymore and he'll never be. It happens with everybody, Kanye will not have as much hype in ~5 years. Drake's career will die in 10 years.


The stans won't be hype neither 'cuz he just released an album. Nobody gave a s--- about the rapture tour post-MMLP2. The hype for every show started with the monster tour for ShadyXV and the brazil one in 2016 when we expected an album to come out soon.

Give it ~2 years and the hype will start to come back again in the Em sxn.

So for the past few weeks I actually relistened to some of Eminem's discography (about a good chunk of it) I must say I like it more than before since I used to s--- on them songs, I really f--- with the late 90s underground features and collabs he has done

Basically every single year of my life since 1999 I have listened to his music or been excited about what's next.

Revival has actually killed my current interest in his s--- period. What a powerful sack of s--- that album was. 100% his worst.

W. And the way he and Jay continue to sell 20+ years into their careers, f---ing wow. Most of the 90s rappers would love to have a mainstream presence like them. And just imagine how much hype would be around Em right now if he hadn't told his fans to f--- off for liking Trump and if he had put out a great album. His album was the most anticipated one before he did his cypher verse.
