    Cole must be highkey mad Kanye just produced a whole album for Cole’s idol (Nas) while it took him two years to make those mediocre KOD beats.

    I don't think it's a staying power thing. I just think there's literally too much f---ing music out there at once. not to mention social media and the Internet move onto the next thing so fast. I listen to basically anything rap that comes out each week and I constantly have to dig through 200+ songs EVERY WEEK. saturation and streaming really k--- replay value for most things. if it ain't a bonafide hit, you won't hear much about it more than a month later. i update my playlists every 4 weeks just because there's so much s--- that comes out these days.

    Moreover, nowadays, with social media, everything play with the buzz and how an artist can create a meme or a gimmick that trend with people.
    KOD was a smart album with his topic but none of this track has the potentiel to create a gimmick, apart from 1985 which is too old school to create a trend and talk to an old demographic.

    How is this facts if Pusha T said it in a diss track? Need a stronger confirmation. Kelis said by herself and family members confirmed it. f--- Drake if he don't raise his son, but that's not confirmed
