    How can they be Kanye's leftovers when clearly the beats were crafted for Nas' style. Adam & Eve case in point.

    The Pusha album is a classic album and one of the best I've heard since MBDTF tbh, it's THAT good.

    what was he supposed to do tell nas "actually nvm bruh u sound like s--- on this"? he did what he could by giving flawless production and 2 good verses. only L is letting nas rap on these

    Also kanye's viewpoint on Cops Shot the Kid is confusing because it mostly sounds anti-police but then he offhandedly mentions fake news and how "every story has two sides"

    Nas promised Obama he'd make beats for Nas. There are a few rap philistines on here that don't realise it's Kanye reaching to Nas to be part of his legacy than the other way around.

    Kanye orchestrated this entire 7 track album meme that is currently going down the toilet. He's executive producer on every one of these. They're coming out on his label. He's got money and clout invested in every one of these lol. Stop playing yourself.

    And yes, if Nas barely sounds awake, maybe just scrap the album or take a little more time putting it together.

    Problem is with Nas' lyrics is it's nothing we haven't heard from him before and there's no real twist (other than Kanye production). I love a lot of Nas' older material but idk... when you've made 100 albums it seems extremely hard to continue to make really good/fresh music.

    I'd have liked his version of Jay's 4:44.. we sort of got that with 'life is good' but not quite. I wanted to hear him talk about the rumours around beating Kelis and more about his personal life. However, on the balance of things, there was a piece missing from his catalogue... and this was it.

    A concise, air-tight, top-tier sampling project.
