It's mostly White Label with the manic beat where Nas sounds out of place to me. It's really not that bad.

I hope Nas has something else lined up for release. He can't disappear again after 7 songs. There's been plenty of time to have another album on deck, or at very least drop Lost Tapes 2.

Swear I saw you claim a run of the mill Jay Rock joint like 'ES Tales' was SOTY. Pretty much everything on here tops that project.

One thing really annoying with this 'masterful' Kanye rollout is that people are discrediting him based off politics now, even rapheads I once respected like Big Ghost. d--- shame.

The production here is next level for Nas standards, and Nas sounds comfortable on even some of the more daring production. You're supposed to sound this comfortable with your own cadence this long into the game. Flowing to Nas is what dribbling a basketball is to MJ. Leave the tricky s--- to other rappers. People who feel like the subject matter is "rushed" need to understand Nas' style is hyper observant and always has been, he's not here to tell you what to feel on subjects, only to nudge you closer to his viewpoint.

I get it, the album is short and it's associated with Kanye, but I really haven't seen too many fair criticisms on this. I've found myself re listening to this more as a WHOLE than KSG and Ye.

Nasir is a grower. 1st listen threw me off hearing Nas spit over modern beats but on 4th listen now and this album is exceptional.
The albums have been a treat for me. My daily commute is 25 mins both ways. Just been blazing these albums.

    1. Daytona
    2. Nasir
    3. Kids See Ghosts
    4. Ye

There's not much between #1 and #2, same goes for #3 and #4.

Only people hating these albums are Eminem fans who are mad that Revival wasn't a classic.

Man these good music drops blow. Daytona was terrific, then everything else is mediocre and n----s okay with that lol. That Ye album was the most disappointing Ye album I’ve listened to ever. It’s his worst. I can take TLOP and find more songs that are actually fun to listen to. Then Kids see ghosts is alright. I mean it’s pretty alright music, just there’s some trash on there. I legit only like cudi montage and reborn for then most part. And the Nas album is a waste of amazing production. The Nas tape sucks. Everything he said was vague and lacked any depth what so ever. This n----- didn’t make you think at all, he just said s--- in statements without lacking anything to back
It. Kanye should’ve took this beats album and used it for himself. Everything is the best KANYE song I heard in a while, fearing Nas. The kid shot the cop crap sucks with that horrible boring spoken word-esque flow. And even the not for radio for track is carried 90 percent by production and 070 Shake’s infectious hooks.

I feel bad for Pusha T bc he’s the only one that released a strong body of work in the 7 track format that has layers with depth.
