Trump is sitting comfortably at 45%, which is all he needs to win reelection, and his approval is still rising despite constant media bombardment and defamation. Whereas Obama's was in the low 40s at around the same point, and we all know the media handled him with kid gloves.

As soon as Mueller admits there was no collusion Trump's approval will sky rocket to d--- near 50%, which I predict he's bound to crack eventually.

Three polls have him at 45%.
Eight polls have him lower than 45%.
His average is 43.3%.

Out of 13 polls...
Eleven polls had him higher than 45% (four of those were at or above 50%).
One poll had him at 45%.
One poll had him lower than 45%.
His average was 47.8%.

That's far closer than it ought to be, but the numbers are clear. You don't appear to have much of a grasp on them.

1. Trump didn't pass those immigration laws. They were signed off by presidents before him, both Republican and Democrat.
2. 'Immigrant' is not a race.

Sampling bias. Ever wonder why the polls were so off during the last election? Many of them were conducted by partisan firms. That Gallup poll I posted earlier would seem to bear me out on this.

And even if Obama was somewhat more favored, that doesn't prove he was a better president when you factor in media bias. Like Bubba Bill said, the press was nicer to Obama because they liked having an African-American president.

Wrong. This was happening during the Bush and Obama years per immigration laws, but it wasn't reported on as much and it wasn't made into a wedge issue.

That's basically what your argument boils down to when you keep insisting Trump is a racist.

I didn't say it was his policy. I said it was happening even back then, although much less since he didn't have the balls to seriously crack down on illegal immigration. Trump meanwhile does, and he's tackling the problem at its source - by giving us a border wall.

What you were trying to suggest is that Trump’s policy & obama’s policy were the same — they were not. Obama nor Bush for that matter, had “no tolerance” policies because they knew it was morally wrong. You see, the trump administration simply didn’t care until the media which the president hates so much shined a light on it & they started getting heavy backlash.
