    it wasn't my point. i think most people would, indeed, be happy when some people they judge "evil" die, and charlie is just trying to argue that mc cain should be one of them.

    There's a difference between someone whose political views you do not share and someone who's on the FBI's most wanted list.

    Right except Charlie has taken this ultra high horse where “conservatives are the enemy.” He views political disagreement as this totally heinous act. It’s ridiculous.

    I don't take joy in someone else's death. Even if they're the worst person in the world.
    That is some barbaric s---.

    If someone really has done something evil, I would much rather they were brought down in a more civilized way - in a court where they are given a sentence for their crimes and have to spend the remainder of their days contemplating the things they've done. That's a much bigger relief.
    Death is final, if they die they are no longer part of this world. It's much more satisfying when you know that the world goes on without that person and there's nothing they can do about it but watch it go on from their jail cell.

    McCain's dad and Grandpa helped stop German Nazisim and Japanese Imperialism in WWII... McCain the III signed up with the same idealistic goals... I'm sure... he ended up serving in Vietnam instead of saving the world.... not his fault.


    He spent his last year's standing up to Trump while his Republican colleagues bent their knees to s--- his d-ck.

    Sickens me that laughing at someones death has become a thing. Man was a hero with morals.. I didnt agree on a lot of his beliefs and it scares me that someone on their death bed could of been president.. Selfish imo but RIP to a true american hero.

    You're right. McCain only intended to k--- innocent civilians. The fact he failed means it's completely normal to valorize him. Sound moral framework, Enigma.

    Just skipping over the war mongering, racism, scandals, and the fact that "tax reform" decided the fate of countless sick and poor people?​

    Again, politics aren't a debate of ideas detached from consequences. The War in Iraq killed a countless civilians. Saying "sorry" doesn't quite make up for that. Especially when you spend the rest of your life continuing to advocate war and bombing all over the planet.



    If people insist on celebrating this man in death and legitimizing his legacy of blood, the least I can do is oppose that rhetorically.
