    Girls on drugs came on shuffle this morning. One of the best singles this decade tbh. Extremely similar topics to KOD on that song. Woulda been cool for Cole to try and make some enjoyable radio s--- with a drug awareness flip.

    I haven't gone back to listen to KOD in a minute but this review made me like the structure of the album more. Some things I didn't pick up on before until this video (end of BRACKETS with the grieving mum is about her on Once An Addict, end of Window Pain with the little saying God is gonna restart the world leading to 1985 when Cole was born and start of the next LP).

    I feel like i said this before , but i feel like kod as a whole was about cole himself. Like on friends i think he was talking to himself, mainly his younger self.. telling himself he knows a better way to fight his demons, by meditating..

    Window pain sums it all up, especially the bridge, "i put my head to the sky i sing....." part.

    I feel like Cole and Kendrick aren’t as close as they once were. Cole did 2 shows in LA and not one sighting of K.Dot.

    I dont even think they were ever that close, they are just associates, / industry homies. Who respect each other.

    Cole and wale for example is what I'll consider close friends . I mean ion know their full relationship, bbut just hearing them talk about each other in interviews i can tell they are really FRIENDS
