    Eminem's album openers always set the general tone for the project and The Ringer is now his best, followed by k--- You and White America.

    And no I’m not invested in anything. It’s just clearly better than his last albums and people like u (a pervert) have some sort of bitter pathological response is both annoying and inaccurate. Like he wasn’t calling Tyler a fa----; he was repeating Tyler referred to himself as that, confirming it. Is this rly a controversy? Twenty yrs in? (@Big Cuntry u see that as well yes? U guys can think about this stuff better)

    And no, you don’t need to be in here posting like spoiled milk just bc a new eminem album Is out. (Edit u didn’t dogpile when nas bricked. Or when jay and bey dropped a forgettable record.     Like these bars are so cringe and pretty explicitly homophobic (yeah I know eminem hangs w/ elton john or whatever but is calling someone a "fa----" in 2018 really worth a "sack-religious" punchline?):

    Pretty sure he tweeted that - could be wrong. Again, tongue n cheek. But it’s sharp elbowed “hip hop” s---. Agreed it’s not something I’d write (most my rhymes are about narsh) but I think content matters no?

    I’ll take a page from @Charlie work’s playbook: Donald trump is in office actually persecuting the gays and we are debating a 45 yr old mans repeating a word for twenty yrs. it’s not wholly invalid but it’s just kind of like ...... fight the real enemy guys! One bar

    I wish I was smart enough to be a martyr for this album built around calling people r-----ed and being really insecure lol. Like c'mon Andy, has Em really broken down our standards to the point where not making a cringeworthy pop ballad over the course of 45 minutes blows our minds?

    If you're not invested, why you so sensitive to crticism? I also said this was clearly his best effort in a long time. Are you mad I didn't stop there? That I dared to mention the parts of the album that don't work?

    If I'm a disgruntled Stan, you're just a Stan. It's like Em shamed you out of a being a critic by insulting their standing in society. God, you're such a loser lol.

    Black people call each other the N word. Why can't Eminem call them the N word?

    I'm not even offended by it. I just think it's lazy. But I guess when the most entertaining thing you can do is insult random cultural touchstones, and you've been doing that for 20 years, you can't really reinvent the wheel. You can put it over new production though.

    Imagine being so enamored by a 40 year old man not shi--ing his diaper with another terrible pop album that you attack people personally when they levy any critique at it. Seek help.

    no I'm with you in that the outrage is a lil ridiculous—people would rather get mad on twitter about eminem using a slur than to actually do something about the racism/sexism/homophobia in our country because social media hits our pleasure centers to make us feel like we've done something by shooting off an angry tweet or sharing an article. But I still think it shows tone deafness and a lack of maturity.

    All this outrage over Eminem responding to Tyler and calling him a fa----...when rappers go at eachother everyone loves the personal brutal s---, the more offensive and disrespectful the better right...but calling someone a gay slur is too far?
