Aug 27, 2018 Hes collabing with MGK now tho, thats an automatic L And Love story is a great project and Trial by Fire is good but thats about it. Doesnt have the following for any classics sadly. The fact that hes back to collabing with MGK is a bad sign tho. He was at his best with the Love story country rap sound, as noted by that being his most popular and well known album. His hillbilly rap isnt anything great tho. Daylight and Have a Great Flight will always be his best work, if he kept his albums in those veins he would have classics by now

Aug 27, 2018 Love Story wasn’t anywhere as cohesive and the blend of sound was nowhere near as perfect. Pure folk tunes like Devil In My Veins and Have a Great Flight next to tradition hip hop songs like Johnny Cash, title track, and Sky’s The Limit. He only reached perfection on tracks like Till It’s Gone, Tennessee Love (originally a TMR track) and Disappear. Trial By Fire kept the balance the entire way through. Not a single misstep in sound. A true quality project and Yelawolf’s best.
