Whitney Michelle Black child, come and share your black cloud.

The thing is being born black, you should've already had a sense of black pride. It shouldn't have taken teenagers being murdered or police brutality to make people "wake up" and realize they were black and being systematically oppressed by the government. Rappers made it cool and acceptable to disrespect black women (that person used Snoop as an example, same guy who walked an award show red carpet with black women on leashes) and glorify drug use ( and profit from it) and violence. We've been nodding our heads to it for years. Rappers and singers ain't politicians and they're all fake for the most part. They do whatever the hashtags tell them to do. But like I keep saying, people are still gonna show up for Kanye and still stream that album If it ever sees the light of day.

Malcolm x saying all celebrities are puppets. You dont see singers , comedians etc as leaders in the white community. They are leaders in the black community being used to push agendas for the white man

Is T.I. considered a legend? s---, 10 years ago he was huge. He’s still dope. Just didn’t gain new fans and didn’t maintain that top tier staying power over the years like Hov and Wayne.

He's very much a legend to me, his run from Trap Muzik--King cemented his legacy and Paper a Trail was a huge commercial album. Opened the doors for a new wave of ATL rappers along with Jeezy/Luda/Gucci for better or worse. Dude is a beast on the mic, held up with just about anyone (see Swagga Like Us)

Those prison sentences screwed all his momentum, makes me appreciate Cole & Kenny staying out of trouble

Agreed but I think Luda came before Tip

You hear Dime Trap? Pretty solid album this late into his career. Best album in awhile

Yup Luda blew up first, but Tip used to ghostwrite for some So So Def artists back then (Bow Wow lol).

Yeah I liked it, a bit clogged with features but I agree it's solid
