Bron's quote last night really made no sense, timing wise or anything..First of all he said over and over he understands this is a process and that he needs to be patient. Now 7 games in he's already acting like that's bout to run out?

Also the Lakers have been in every game in the 4th quarter, they just don't have someone reliable to finish games(which is supposed to be him) and they've also been horrible defensively especially late(which is also in large part....him).

Bron's one of the laziest defenders I've ever seen and certainly shares in some of the blame so far..With that said I really wasn't too concerned at least till last night, thought they took a step back last night where as in the earlier games, there were good signs/improvements. Still though it's real early, but gotta start getting some Ws before they're too far out of it.

He's played this way the last 2 seasons now. It works for him cause he's fresh for the end but on a young team these guys like it or not look to him and follow his lead.

Yeah that’s exactly what I’m worried about. Lakers still s----d on D last year but they were way better in the 2nd half of the season than the 1st.

Now Bron comes along and they have to cover for his defensive mistakes/laziness on a regular basis, it’s almost like the young guys gotta start over and learn a different way now.

Really gotta win tonight.

I still think there's good signs. Just need more time to gel. There's always gonna be teething issues with such a huge addition to the roster. I think they'll come good

Yeah there’s definitely a lot of positives this year. Let’s face it this season is just to learn how to play together, develop positive habits for the next few years and hopefully make the playoffs and show next year‘s class of free agents this will be a team they can join and win.

Like you said Lebron's already seeming impatient. I think a lot of fans are too. They've literally only played 7 games or whatever and all the ones they lost I'm pretty sure have been by single digits. People are just panicking expecting LeBron to make em go 74-8 immediately imo

Yeah every loss has been by single digits and I think I saw that 3 or 4 of them have been by 4 points or less.

Honestly if Bron had been clutch so far their record could easily be flipped.

Exactly. Just had a bit of bad luck and results haven't gone your way. Happens every week in basketball it's just because it's happened in the first period of a LeBron era it's under the microscope way more than it should be.

If this happened midway through the year people would just call it a bit of a slump and barely mention it

I've never been more heartbroken by anything sport related or much more in life tbh. First grand final i ever attended too... I'll never be able to watch any form of replay or anything it hurts too much

Haha i honestly reckon I'd rather get pumped than lose like we did tho. Its over before you can even get into it vs. The emotional rollercoaster. My bottom lip dropped about four times in the match thinking my dream of being at a flag was truly on the cards

Pride/reputation wise as a team you'd prob prefer the close margin but emotionally watching it as a supporter the close margin is h--- haha i remember sitting there literally looking at the sky thinking "god... you CAN'T put me through this emotional rollercoaster you've put me through just to f--- me in the end. You just f---in can't" haha
