Dec 5, 2018 Only songs worth listening to are Believe, Castle and Arose. Walk on Water and untouchable had good intentions but both executed poorly becoming unlistenable. The rest all forgettable. 4/10
Dec 5, 2018 gotta jump in on this one too. This was really bad even though I thought there were around 3 okay or good songs. Looking at it as a body of work it was just really poor. Those few songs make it possible to even rate it imo. 3/10
Dec 5, 2018 This is literally one of the worst albums I've ever listened to. Even if this was Eminem's only bad album (which it obviously isn't), it's so bad that I'd be embarrassed to ever include this guy on any all time great list. Plenty of other great artists have released bad albums, but I don't think any have been this awful. As nearly everyone mentioned, there's nothing remotely interesting or enjoyable about this record. the production is bland, the writing is uniformly awful....it feels like Em just cut and paste his verses on whatever generic beat he could find, slapped on some uninspired, vapid hook and called it a day. 0/10
Dec 5, 2018 I still have it in daily rotation to this day. Actually listened to Tragic Endings, Remind Me, and Heat today. Easily Eminem’s best album imo. Like it was more than Kamikaze. Kamikaze was a sellout. It’s easily better than his first three albums. Not a single dud on this classic. So much hate I’ll never understand it! 11/10 certified classic. f--- all y’all haterz
Dec 5, 2018 Right at least encore and relapse are interesting failures. I think this (and also kind of mmlp2) are worse just bc they’re... boring. And ya the political stuff is so half hearted and lame. “Believe” is kind of good tho. You should make a thread (after u wipe) about what’s the right combo of songs from revival/kamikaze that would make a 2018 eminem album good. Maybe not simha good, but the kind of good that would inspire @Dew to write a positive review on his medium account

Dec 6, 2018 at his worst as a writer. toilet puns & made up romances that no one cares about, even when he gets autobiographical or self reflective, it's less inspired, uninteresting versions of s--- he's already done in previous, better songs. and with his other bad albums (the Encore's & Relapse's) that have gotten better as he's managed to make even worse music, he at least had performative skill to back himself up -- gliding over the Rainmans & Same Song & Dances. here he's doin some awful deep voice gremlin s--- with an awful choppy delivery. he doesn't even sound good at the very least. the music is at its worst, generic imagine dragons s--- & baby boomer rock hits, not much else there. at least the other albums had a few songs that sounded good that you could pick apart from the rest, but absolutely nothing here. which is a pretty fitting description for this entire album. absolutely nothing here. 0/10.
