No it wasn’t lmao. The investigation began because George Papodoppolous drunkenly told an Australian diplomat that the Russians were offering the trump campaign dirt on Clinton. That diplomat then informed the FBI which started the counter-intelligence investigation. It’s sad how bad you are at this lmao you’re fumbling from point to point.

    *provides 29 page indictment*

    “Where’s the proof!?”

Read the indictments you fucken doofus. It details the entire sequence of events. We’re primarily talking about cyber crime here so idk what proof you’re seeking here. There’s not gonna be texts of Putin ordering the hacking of the DNC if that’s what you really want.

I’m not gonna go down this rabbit hole anymore with you. @Big Cuntry can you please do the honors.

This is revisionist history - and not the good kind - peddled by the NY Times in a blatant effort to save their crumbling collusion narrative. See here. The Steele dossier, which was oppo research funded by Hillary's campaign, was used to obtain the FISA warrant - or to put it more directly, to justify the surveillance of a political opponent. A mid-level partisan FBI agent (Strzok) has confirmed as much and you're so inundated with lies and misinfo on a daily basis that I bet you never even saw that story.
Completely ignored my point that an indictment ≠ proof or evidence of guilt.
"Please ban him so I can have my safe space back where no one can challenge my views." Crybully b----.

GOP: “The Mueller report totally exonerates the president!”

The public: “release it so we can see it in its entirety!”

    Also GOP:

Well doesn't it? I thought we established that it did exonerate him.
Most people are probably just glad it's finally over at this point. By the way, when I said I needed more evidence of Russian hacking than just the word of the intel community, you called me a conspiracy theorist. Talk about inconsistent.

The report that “totally exonerates” the president won’t be released to the public. Instead, AG Barr will write [another] summary & send it to Congress. Literally, no one gives a s--- about Barr’s summarizations, just release the d--- report. House democrats are going to have to subpoena it.

You do realize that there are individuals with more firsthand knowledge than you? Apparently most of the report contains classified info. That's why it's being withheld from the public.

Surely you aren't suggesting that the attorney general is a puppet being controlled by the president? That sounds like a silly far left conspiracy theory to me.

And now we know it was all bs. Trump didn't collude. Just as the corporate media owes the American people an apology for lying to them all this time, @Enigma I think you should apologize to this forum for spamming it with fake news stories and conspiracy theories for the past two years. And then you should retire. Find a new hobby, maybe one less stressful and humiliating? Cuz you only take L's here son.

Lol. Now you’re stooping this low? Everyone knows trump filed for bankruptcy before and the government ended up somehow owing him money. All high end millionaires and billionaires hide some money and do some laundering. Including the Clintons.

With freedom of speech you can brag all about money even when owing debt. You need to quit checking the Washington Post everyday that the Democrats run and only use it to try and bash Trump. You guys took a major L with this whole witch hunt Russian collusion. Only for trump and the people closest to him to be innocent lmao

@dna hits there is no limit to how low people on the left will stoop to prop up their narrative and keep the big lie going. There is also no shame, embarrassment or accountability to be had when they are shown to be objectively wrong about something, no matter how devastating the revelation is to their worldview. Count on @Enigma's goofy a--- to ramble about Trump's taxes and so forth for the next month or so, or whatever WaPo and other multi-billion dollar corporations lead him on to believe. It's sad because he'll never learn from his mistakes.

“All rich people commit financial crime so who cares if the president did!”

This is the epitome of what’s wrong with our criminal justice system. White collar crime is brushed off as whatever but god forbid a person come here illegally in attempt to give a better life to their children. The fact that people with functioning brains think this way is saddening. You hold low-class immigrants to higher standards than the president of the United States lol. That says more about you than anything else.

We might take your argument more seriously if you didn't give people like the Clintons a pass just because they're supposedly on the left. You're so blatantly hypocritical and inconsistent that nobody can take you seriously.

Barr now stating that his 4 page letter to Congress wasn’t a summary of the entire Mueller report but just a summary of its “principle conclusions.” The Mueller report in its entirety is ~400 pages & will be released with redactions by mid April. The fact that the Special Counsel is helping with the redaction process makes me more comfortable about this. It’ll still be interesting to see what those redactions are though & if the media can fill in the blanks.

Great, so basically we’re all gonna be let down by the Mueller report twice, not just once.

I dunno, hope I’m wrong but realistically I lost all hope for this. Plus if Barr is releasing it then it’s either good for Trump or edited enough to make it look good for Trump.

People who were throwing all their eggs in one basket are of course going to be let down. I don’t think Barr lied about the special counsel’s conclusions but the lack of detail certainly painted Trump/his campaign in a more positive light than the actual report will. I’m more so curious behind the rational of 1) not subpoenaing the president 2) not charging Trump Jr and/or Kushner and/or Manafort with conspiracy & 3) the evidence for & against obstruction of justice which, again, the special counsel did not provide a conclusion for. He left it up to the reader (congress) to decide whether or not the evidence warranted an obstruction of justice charge.

^ Sour grapes. Get over it, you lost. The investigation was a farce, that's the answer to your three questions. Loser.

@Kon how have you not changed your mind about the legitimacy of the Mueller investigation and Russiagate by now? Where do you get your news/analysis? lol

I said it was a gigantic waste of time and overhyped, at least so far for those 2.

Why won’t i assume Trump is innocent? Which is basically what you’re really asking.. umm cuz I haven’t read the report, he lies more than he tells the truth and is clearly an evil and terrible person and president.

Not gonna answer 30 follow up questions you have though soooo if you’re trolling cool hope ya have fun, or if you’re just too stupid to see reality then oh well, sucks for you I guess.

Practicing checks & balances is never a waste of time. Regardless of the conclusion of the report in terms of criminality, the conduct of trump & his campaign deserve criticism. Never did they once contact the FBI in the numerous times that the Russians reached out to them. They lied to federal authorities about their contacts with the Russians which in itself tells me they knew what they were doing might not be legal. This was a case of stupid corrupt people doing shady/legally questionable things, lying about it, & getting caught. I feel no sympathy for any of them.
