Sep 25, 2019 Drake has dropped more trash albums than Em and hasnt dropped an album as good as Em. Em has Encore and Revival which are actual bad albums, where as Drake has Views, More Life, and Scorpion which are all bad albums. Drake also has nothing near Ems three. Drake gets slack because each album has one good hit that gets radio play everywhere. Now Im not saying Ems recent music is amazing or anything, but to act like drake has been on some amazing run isnt true because hes dropping some garbage too Where are these comparisons from?
Sep 25, 2019 Drake has 100% dropped garbage—Views and Scorpion are bad yes but I would take anything in Drake's discog over anything in Em's discog the past 15 years besides kamikaze over scorpion but I revisit the like four good songs on scoprion over anything on kamikaze personally. Also More Life is a great album and 2013-2014 was NWTS/loosies era Drake anyway so none of those even come into the equation Encore > every album Em released the past ten years besides kamikaze. Half of it is dogshit but the other half still sounds like old Em, which I'd take over the try-hard nature of most of his post-hiatus releases aside despite them having a few gems
Sep 25, 2019 I think it's exactly what eminem needed to do to regain footing after Revival. It's a solid album, but it didn't have much replay value for me after a couple weeks because beyond him proving himself it can come across as bitter and out of touch. It's cool to hear him go in over more modern production. Definitely the best thing he's done since Eminem Show though.
