Nov 29, 2019 My only gripe with the film is how old De Niro is in some of the scenes. The age technology helps, but his voice sounds extremely old. The store owner beat down scene was terrible because he obviously can't move around like a younger person beating the s--- out of someone when he's pushing 80. Would've liked if they just used a younger character for the throwback scenes. Otherwise really good movie

Nov 30, 2019 Great movie, still prefer Casino, Goodfellas over this but re-watch this... Ending is sad...harsh reality to any who lives for a long time...losing friends, family etc...doesn’t matter who you are, or the life you lived...rich or poor, criminal or law abiding citizen...famous or regular person....time catches up to everyone unfortunately. Funny how main actors are all 70+ years old and they have that style of ending to conclude the story.
