    super inflated by the industry and social media numbers - creatively, extremely overrated.
    There are scores of artists that deliver music leagues beyond this yet, they receive not even a fraction of the praise.
    today, being "the next big thing"' comes down to paid advertising, influencer marketing, and being cosigned by a 'gatekeeper' [access].
    it has very little to do with talent, background, or depth of craft. Don't conflate billie eilish's marketshare with actual artistic value.
    at best, her music is at least palatable, a solid 6/10.

    I think I will try and give her another chance. But after I learned that her "I Wish You Were Gay" song is directed at a guy and not a girl, I wasn't feeling her.
