    Today on joe podcast Mal brought up what he meant when he said it’s too wordy. He said when he starts rapping like twista, and one example was the one with young Ma. Listened to it and was like what the f--- is Mal talking about because he didn’t even rap fast on that song. Smh he be listening too slow

    I was wondering earlier if he has a vault of old choruses and verses he dusts off.

    That said it is impressive in 2020 for a guy like this to be putting out such an athletic sounding record

    When Eminem says "Slim Shady sounds like a fable to me until he jumps out of the toilet when you're taking a pee" is a reference to horror movie Candyman. There's a scene where a kid goes to public toilet and candyman mutilates him. BAM! that line is no longer stupid and the song is great.

    It was me who talked about tiers.

    I agree relapse is bottom tier but I would say MMLP2 is mid tier while revival isn’t.

    I swear everything Em writes is a double/triple entendre; it’s insane

    “Revival” was a necessary evil.

    Yeah. We all aren’t a fan of that album (Even though it still has good tracks on there. Debate your nearest wall)

    But, that album really is going to be an important moment for Em. As “bad” as it was, it was needed.

    Do we...... technically owe “Revival” some credit?

    I mean, what if it had been successful? That’s the real scary thought. Like, if we just shrugged our shoulders and let it slide. Who knows

    I gave it another listen yesterday and I would say that honestly, this is Eminem's best album in quite a long time. It's still gonna be in the B-/C+ range for me

    Ok so almost a week now. At first i said this was like mmlp2 but no, this is definitely better. I don't remember myself listening MMLP2 like this.

    I f---ing love Revival. I’ll never understand the hate. It’s my favorite album of his and my favorite album of all time.
