    Ok who thinks the instrumental during Em’s ‘You Gon Learn’ verse is just coincidentally similar to the beat of ‘Sing For The Moment’?

    Or who thinks ( i do ) that its identical?
    3.02 - 3.07 and then again 3.16 - 3.22

    Encore is probably 5/10. Revival ?/10. Relapse for the concept and production alone is probably 7-8/10. I hate the accent but the pros outweigh the cons as a whole.

    I think mmlp2 is better than at least recovery, h--- ts and revival

    I don’t troll. The list I give will be solid. I might do 2 lists. 1 list is my favorite albums of his and the 2nd list would be his best albums from a musical standpoint.

    For example I get why MBDTF is considered a classic but I honestly can’t stand that album. It’s not my kind of music but I do like some of Kanye’s other albums like TLOP even though people consider is pretty bad.

    It doesn’t really move me one way or the other honestly. I like young m.a. on it more, there are way better verses that display em’s talent on that album than that one imo

    I was writing my track by track thoughts in a word doc a couple weeks ago but I never finished. I’ll give it another listen and post when I can. I will say overall it grew on me and i was too harsh first listen but I think as an album it still feels sloppy and sort of directionless...but as I said in another thread what I appreciate most is that a solid chunk of it actually feels like you’re listening to Marshall mathers. It’s not this robotic autopilot record devoid of any soul or personality like revival, recovery, stretches of mmlp2. There’s still some of that fat on here that should have been trimmed off but it’s a step in the right direction for sure. If it was kamikaze length it would prob be his 4th best album but it’s way too long for no real reason that I can see.

    My Personal Favorite Eminem Albums in Order
    1. MMLP
    2. TES
    3. SSLP
    4. MTBMB
    5. Kamikaze
    6. Relapse Refill
    7. Recovery Deluxe Edition
    8. MMLP 2 Deluxe Edition
    9. Encore Deluxe Edition
    10. Revival

    If you want tiers, here ya go:
    Classic. 10/10
    1. MMLP
    2. TES
    3. SSLP

    Fantastic 8-9/10
    4. MTBMB
    5. Kamikaze

    Good. 7/10
    6. Relapse Refill

    Okay. 6/10
    7. Recovery

    Average 5/10
    8. MMLP 2
    9. Encore

    Below Average 4/10
    10. Revival

    ***Some Notes: I include the Deluxe Editions because to me it makes sense to. No further explanation needed.
    -MMLP and TES are pretty much on the same level, I just prefer the gritty and dark sound of MMLP more.
    -SSLP is also a classic and wouldn't argue anyone that put it #1.
    -MTBMB is actually very solid and wildly consistent in regards to quality (not concept or structure). It doesn't have a lot of high points, but the ones that strike are fantastic. The key is though, it doesn't have that many abysmal low points like his other albums.
    -Kamikaze is good throughout. It's not a jumbled mess which is great.
    -Relpase. Sure I don't like the accent but the production is mesmerizing and top notch. it's his most polarizing album so I get it.
    -With Recovery we are now getting into his last 4 albums that don't even reach levels of "good" in my opinion. It pains me to have Encore so low but literally half the album is unlistenable. The other half reaches the heights of TES, but the bad half is lower than anything on Revival so I have to rank it as his second worst. Not easy to do but you have to look at the project as a whole.
    -Recovery is a lot of pop bs with a few gems
    -MMLP2 is a f---ing mess with some good tracks sprinkled in. Some really embarrassing tracks on here as well.
    -Revival is so bad that its a f---ing classic. So bad that it's good and that's why it's my favorite album of all time. It is not in the trash tier but rather the below average tier because it still has 5 great tracks on it.
    -Rankings #1-6 are pretty solid but #7-10 is kind of a crap s---t since they are all average at best and quite a big drop off of quality. They could change on any given day.
    -No Favors still his best guest feature.
