I’m becoming a nihilist. The US is so f-----. Too dumb and self centered to learn from our mistakes...we can’t even take a pandemic seriously. This s----s out of control. It’s going to get worse next Fall and Winter because of idiots like this. People would rather have things reopen and put the economy over the health of our citizens. And the governments response has been terrible. They give more relief for corporations than for regular people.

We can't expect nothing from those who lead the nation. They aren't regular people and they can't understand how it is to wonder every single day how to pay rent, the bills and if we are going to survive.
We just have ourselves. So we had to take care of ourselves alone. For the other, we will wait if they are ready. Control what you can control, if not influence.
It's what I learned from this pandemic.

Cole could learn a lesson from Drake about feeding his fans. There would literally be no downside to him releasing a similar loosie tape or a tape of old unreleased songs until the album. I’m 100% sure The Fall Off was meant to drop by now. I understand delaying it cos of the pandemic which means he can’t tour but give us something in the meantime. Say what you want about mumble rap but those guys know how to feed their fans. Dreamville is running a s--- show. Lute album was meant to drop ages ago, Omen hasn’t dropped in 3-4 years, Bas and Cozz havent dropped in 2 years nor had JID. JID is the one who should be flooding music cos he has the potential to be really big. Its either laziness or part of their strategy to all stay “mysterious and out of touch” which will never work in this current music climate. Cole just ruined all the momentum he built up over the past couple years with another random a--- break.

Yeah agree too about dreamville artists. They're not cole and don't have the backing of jay z to just go ghost for 2+ years. I suppose rotd3 helped them a lot but they're supposed to capitalise off that. For Cole, I'm not really waiting on him anymore, he'll do what he needs to do as he's always done

Out of all on dreamville, lute and omen are the main ones due another album in reality.. the others dropped 2018-19 so they good imo, even tho I wouldn’t mind a project for any one of them right now, it’s understandable.

As a few of you pointed out, we really don't know them and have no idea of what's going on with them personally and what effect it has on their music, buuuuuut....you do have to question the work ethic. Like Omen could simply put some songs on Spotify real quick. 4 or 5 songs, just to be like here you go. Same thing Cole did with Any Given Sunday or Truly Yours. Just random songs to share with the people. It comes across a little lazy honestly. All dreamville artists seem to do is lament and treat social media like it's the therapist's office when they need to be seeing a real one. Just uninspired and unmotivated. I'd love new music too but I'm more concerned with their mental health. As far as Cole goes, I've said before he really don't do much with his album rollouts so he really could put it out and keep it pushing. I doubt he would put it out so close to Lute's album though which appears to coming soon. Who knows wtf is going on when it comes to Dreamville lol

I wouldn’t even question the work ethic ., cause all of them stay in the studio, last few times I’ve seen Cozz on live he been in the studio. He was in there with reason a few weeks back. (They working on a collab album) last time omen was on live breaking down BMO beat he played new music.. idk why omen don’t put out music, I wonder do it got something to do with the label (Interscope) omen situation just weird.

as much as I be wanting n----s to drop, I lowkey understand if n----s like taking their time or hesitant to drop, cause I been f---ing with the beat making s---, and right now I’m just sitting on hella s---.. I be hesitant to put it up on SoundCloud or on the social , just cause I be wanting it to sound perfect.. and I’m steady tweaking the beats lol. n----s done hit me like, when you comfortable with some beats you made send them to the email.. mad n----s done hmu, I ain’t sent not one beat to nobody yet lol.. and I got hella beats that I think are done.. when you love music frfr s--- be like that.. that’s why the n----s you see dropping so fast and so much you can tell they not taking the craft serious, just in it for a check.. which ain’t nothing wrong with that neither, but done just do it for the love of the music
