    If we're talking about rappers who blew up in the 2010's, it's Kendrick Lamar, Freddie Gibbs, Earl Sweatshirt, Token, AFRO, Ab Soul, Jay Rock, Jay Electronica and Ka.
    New school rappers today usually focus more on hooks, melodies, and vibes than technical lyricism as a whole though.
