Jul 17, 2020 Marks out of 10, explain your ratings Infinite - 4/10 - could just be bad production, I'm sure he displayed some skill here but nothing is memorable Slim Shady EP - 9/10 - great introduction to his persona and some battle rap, I prefer this version of bonnie & clyde over the LP version Slim Shady LP - 9/10 - great introduction to the masses, battle rap lyrics & funny moments to not make it too serious Marshall Mathers LP 4.5/10 - very disappointing sequel to his classic major debut, this has aged badly. too serious some cheesy stuff, too personal, rap skill not close to Slim Shady LP, hated songs like real slim shady and stan is boring Eminem Show - 6/10 - Better but too many filler pointless songs, a bit more skill displayed than MMLP. Extra point for Superman Encore - 2/10 - Awful, no comments to make. Just lose it, one of worst songs I've ever heard Curtain Call - 3/10 - can't give it a higher rating when he put Fack as first track. Just lose it is on the disc over some slim shady lp classics & minus point for lack of superman, don't care for when I'm gone Relapse - 4.5/10 - a lot of wasted potential, Eminem should have gone for a horrorcore rap album instead of wasting this effort with random lyrically weak filler tracks Recovery - 9.5/10 - my favourite album by Eminem. Displays some skill but more importantly delivery behind meaningful lyrics. A lot of power in some of these songs that pump you up, something not a lot of eminem music usually has (especially recently) Bad Meets Evil h---: The Sequel - 9/10 - crazy skill displayed, both him and Royce in their prime here MMLP2 - 8/10 - skill displayed and also some memorable catchy stuff, minus point for berzerk though Revival - 5/10 - a lot of bad choruses, too many filler songs, skill displayed but it's not enough to save the album Kamikaze - 6.5/10 - more skill displayed, more focused album but many forgettable songs again Music to be Murdered By - 9/10 - great combination of skill and catchy music, makes it memorable and tracks like godzilla and darkness instant classics Ranking based on rating Recovery Slim Shady LP Slim Shady EP h--- The Sequel Music to be Murdered By MMLP2 Kamikaze Eminem Show Revival Relapse Marshall Mathers LP Infinite Curtain Call Encore
Jul 17, 2020 This has been done a thousand times but just wanted to stop buy to say your infinite and MMLP scores are crazy. It's mad how divided Eminems fans are. Encore wasn't great but it was better than 2/10 for me, I'd probably go to a 5 minimum. And Relapse is 8 maybe even 9. I have a strange liking for Relapse. Have since it dropped. Jul 17, 2020 Relapse had a few memorable stuff but outweighed by a lot of bad raps. It could never gain any momentum, it was all over the place. I would have more relapse songs than revival on a personal playlist but revival was more consistent as an album so it just edged it for me
