Maybe now this will stop Em releasing surprise albums and actually put the promotional work like he used to do before releasing full ones. Just also shows how much the Juice World track helped side A!

Dec 20, 2020 It will, he put 16 tracks on side B which is basically a full album and it’s sold like s--- and will be the worst selling of his career. He says he took an L when Revival was released and that did 200k first week. There was zero reason to release side B, none what so ever.

MTBMB also sold great because it had fire tracks and 2 great singles with videos with Darkness and Godzilla. Side B is full of crap and has a laughable lead single and video with Gnat. Not getting to number 1 again will devastate Em deep down because sales are all he cares about now instead of focusing more on making great music!

Dec 20, 2020 Godzilla took a while to be shot and released. The first two weeks are the important ones when it comes to sales, and he didn't do anything during them, nothing at all. He flopped with a deluxe, not an actual new album. He will be alright. Travis and his overuse of bundles made everyone sell way less btw.

Maybe this L will make Em focus more on promotion and making better music. This was clearly a rushed album to release in time for Xmas.

Literally the definition of promotion is to increase sales. If he sold it as MTBMB 2 and a separate album the sales would be much higher.
