Dec 22, 2020 Hm ok so am I gonna pick a song like tone death that's innovative, has a current day subject matter, has a lot flow and sick bars or am I gonna pick the song that re does a nursery rhyme from elementary school and is completely predictable with nothing innovative (aside from some horns). The type of song that's been done millions of times by everyone. .. Let me think about that and get back to you.
Dec 22, 2020 Yeah I totally get that. I just can’t get behind the beat. It’s definitely an “Em Style” beat. It’s just too goofy for me. Lots of great bars mixed in with lots of cheesy bars. It goes on waaaay too long as well.
Dec 22, 2020 100% agree w all of this. Especially the length. W other songs a beat switch prevents it from dragging on too long but this song gets boring after 3 minutes to me.
Dec 22, 2020 I feel ya man! It’s not a bad song by any means though. That’s how good this album is! Alright all this discussion on Alfreds theme has me liking it more. Whoever is in charge I change my vote to either Black Magic or She Loves Me. Hmmm let’s go with Black Magic. Not worthy of an Em intro imo.
