    Watch it or don't.

Basically none of them picked Eminem's album.

That's expected though I mean I haven't listened to everything this year but I wouldn't call it aoty personally

Hard for me not to call it it AOTY when I'm thinking it's Em's 3rd Classic now.

i kinda interpret it as he's a legacy act now. he should get a mention but he's not in that category anymore, he's over there with his awards and whatnot. that said i wonder if it's his choice or not. i saw the grammy thing as him voting now rather than being voted for, if that makes sense? like he's got a vote now and isn't voting for himself. MTBMB/SB are literally catalog cementing efforts, they uphold his legacy after some pretty terrible albums but they don't necessarily warrant awards and AOTYs imo

    What you say makes sense.
But if you're referring to the JBP video I posted, then the same principle should apply to Nas.
And yet, objectively, Nas' album was nowhere near to Eminem's. In terms of lyrical abilities, fun, great production, addressing current issues, etc.
Yet they praise Nas. And that's just because Nas is black.
They also praise Royce, when The Allegory is probably the worst album I've ever heard this year. But he's also black, and he's Joe Budden's friend.

Let's tell it how it is.

can't argue with any of that but nas still deserves recognition though, he's not as acclaimed as em when he obviously should be. i think that's what matters here

Obviously. Not hating on Nas. Nas is a legend.
But I actually think the opposite. Nas gets far more recognition from the culture in general, than Eminem does.

shameful. i know that's grammys and not the culture but still. em can afford to sit out some awards and aoty discussions

    Yeah, disrespectful too.
But who considers The Grammys to be a voice for the culture? They've lost all credibility years ago. So that actually doesn't mean anything.
I'm talking about the people who have a voice that matters. Like other artists, podcasts, connoisseurs, etc.

Saying that this is one of ems best albums is different then sayin that it is the best album of the year. I didn’t even know nas dropped this year gonna have to give that a spin!

I'm pretty sure that this was the orginally tracklist and that it was real. Some songs from it got released or leaked like We're back, Emulate (full version) and I'll hurt You.

It's great that he talked about the Snoop situation and he said it very well. I have to say that I haven't seen Em talking that confidently for so long, he didn't even say "you know what I'm saying" that much as before. It's like he's finally found himself. There will definitely be another album or something this year! :emoji_metal::emoji_v:

I'm actually very happy that we've got these two little interviews now.
2020 has been a great year for us as Eminem fans.
    2 albums. 3 videos. 4 Interviews.
