Jan 5, 2021 I mean, this. Snoop has been bitter about Em for many years.. not trying to be a Stan here, but it is clear. Plus I have to say that in the past years, Eminem has been specially humble about his role in the hip hop landscape as a white rapper, which made me gain new respect for him, you can tell the guy really loves the culture.
Jan 5, 2021 Snoop was also dissing Kanye back in 2018 while showing him love in person. He's just a 2-faced person in general. Either way, Snoop is very far from an elite rapper(although he's a dope freestyler) so Eminem will win a rap beef against him in his sleep. Snoop himself knows this too. Plus, Eminem has a real fanbase that will stick by him and claim he won while Snoop has no stans at all. Just people that think he's chill and funny but will never buy another album from him....ever. Snoop is easily the most overrated legend in rap history. If it weren't for Snoop prevailing in the 90's, no one would consider him one. Doggystyle is a masterpiece but Dre's production was half of the reason for that. He did his thing too though. And he basically became a glorified singles artist after the 90's. Barely anyone today even associates Snoop with music anymore. He's a stoner celebrity icon now. Nothing wrong with that but he needs to know his place before dissing someone who's actually important in music/hip hop like Eminem or Kanye. Even Kendrick Lamar achieved GOAT status in 5 years more than Snoop did in his entire career. Let that sink in. Snoop's cool. AFAIK, he's probably just trolling everybody for attention and Em might even be in on it. But this dude needs to humble himself in the midst of greatness. Snoop has one hot album and helped popularize Death Row and G Funk in the 90's. That's his legacy in music. Eminem's legacy is big enough to be studied in Harvard. Hopefully, this beef dies down though.
