Mar 20, 2021 I remember trying to get into latest Hiphop because i felt like i was left out and not interested in Hiphop anymore. After trying some music, mostly top 40 stuff i realized once you get used to the elite music all the new stuff felt so not my taste. Instead of trying to listen new music just so i can feel relevant and participate in discussion with the cool kids, I just stopped wantedly listening to new Hiphop unless i randomly heard it on Spotify or radio. If i end up liking the song id look into the artists discog.
Mar 20, 2021 Thats beta bro. Listen to new stuff so u enjoy new stuff. U think i care if sav or donkey thought i was cool or im dying to discuss stuff with ppl on the otherside of the world? i had enough listrnin to exact same thing for years. Its time to evolve
Mar 20, 2021 21 Savage's debut album from 2017. Wasn't that well received when it dropped but I've always enjoyed it. Savage x Metro is a match made made in heaven. Still think Savage Mode 1 and 2 are better tbh but Issa's still great imo
Mar 20, 2021 this is what i wrote about it at the time: https://www.complex.com/music/2017/07/21-savage-issa-album-review
Mar 20, 2021 issa album is much much better than savage mode 2 to me; 1 might be better but it didn’t come out on a major
Mar 20, 2021 Savage Mode > Issa Album > I Am Greater Than I Was > Savage Mode 2 > Slaughter Tape > Slaughter King
Mar 20, 2021 Issa Album has been a grower for me—I liked it when it dropped but it left my rotation pretty quick. Felt forgettable at first but I've returned to it more and more over the years. Great album. As much as I love Metro and 21 together, Savage Mode 2 feels really artificial in comparison to the original and even Issa.
Mar 20, 2021 I literally hve about 75 albums in queue. I cant believe how many years i wasted listening only to same music. k--- me
Mar 21, 2021 It's great when you finally come to that realisation though. The air's fresher, food tastes better...
