Jul 21, 2021 Guts Over Fear is great. Look, they’re not bad songs, I think this is where people get confused about the critiques. Not everything that people complain about is objectively bad, it just *could* be a whole lot better, that’s the thesis of it all. Guts Over Fear is great, content, anthemic hook, great for a pop ballad, but does it rival the top half of TES or MMLP?
Jul 21, 2021 Jack Harlow definitely brought the best matching verse to the beat throughout the OG & the remix, but I think I prefer the OG overall, especially the beat change. If I could add Em’s verse to the original I’d take that all day.
