more like barca wont reach barca level again.

seriously, one of the saddest days in football history.
He wont even get a proper sendoff like other legends of the club.

Yeah I don't want Messi to play for PSG, but it looks like that's the way it's going to happen.
I don't even think Messi himself wanted that but right now they are the only club with the money and the rules on their favour.

I never liked the Galacticos' Real Madrid with Roberto Carlos, Beckham, Zidane, Figo, Ronaldo, Raul, etc. Always felt like an overkill.

Same with PSG. I liked PSG back when Ibrahimovic and Lavezzi played together among with some other very good players.

Well at least Real Madrid has history and it was always something that they did, they attracted the biggest players since they are the biggest club in football history.

People went there more to have the honor to play for Real Madrid, when at PSG they go there to get their money.

Last time I enjoyed PSG and Ligue 1 was back in the early 2000's when Pauleta was playing for them.

So nobody is talking about the fact that he is 34 years old collected hundreds of millions of dollars in his life and couldn't end his career at the club that made him because they could not pay the salary that he wanted?

That's why I don't love football like I used to, I like now I just don't love it anymore.

What? He offered a 50% wage cut. I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that you aren’t allowed to cut your wages by more than 50% anyway. He didn’t leave because he wanted money lol.

No, LaLiga has strong finance regulations. Unlike Ligue1.
Barcelona couldn't comply due to salary masses - Thanks to Bartomeu.
Griezmann, Coutinho, Dembele, De Jong, Pjanic, etc.

"Why doesn't he play for free?", that's very romantic and very easy for you to say when it's not your money, lol.
Messi has already agreed to reduce his salary by 50%, I think that's more than any player would have done for any club. And he's not "any player".

Lmao he collected hundreds of millions of dollars, he has 1 year maximum 2 left to play you really think if he wanted to stay at Barcelona he wouldn't find a way?

But nooo my man needs the bag, that's what he's in for. And I'm not talking all this to hate on Messi here, cause I know in this day in age there is not even one player left like Totti, Maldini, Del Piero, De Rossi or Zanetti.

These players refused 5x their salary and chose to stay with their teams. All of them refused Real Madrid when Real was throwing money away and were buying all the good players.

Del Piero even played with Juve in Serie B. Maldini turned down Chelsea even after retirement that approached him to become their coach and chose to stay at Milan. That is what loyal players used to do for their clubs.

I just don't like this s--- show of a sport anymore where everything is about money nowadays, no passion, no nothing. Only hairstyles, instagram posts, tattoos, who has the bigger salary or the nicer car.

No support for the small or average teams.Champions from most of the countries in Europe that play their heart out an entire year, need to play 4-5 qualifier games to get in the Champions league while the 3rd and 4th places from the big leagues have a pass to play in a competition that is ironically called "Champions" League.

The only reason I'm still watching it is because I grew up with it and can't let it go.

Lmao my man, it was up to barcelona to try to find a way(cdc deal with la liga, and wages or selling of other players in the squad whom refused to leave or cut their wages at all)not Messi. He did everything he could.

Just to clear something up about Messi playing for free - He shouldn’t have to.
Barca’s wage to revenue ratio is currently at around 115%. Even without Messi’s wages, it’s still 95%.
La Liga’s salary cap is set at 70%.
So even if Messi played for free, Barca couldn’t register him.

Since the 6-1 Remontada (lowkey there was a hand behind that, but we past it) in 2017, PSG took Neymar. Knocked out Barcelona by beating them 4 - 1 at Camp Nou and now bought Barca's legend and the goat...

and Pochettino went from coaching Spurs to now coaching Ramos and Messi in the same team.

Ramos and Messi in the same team after all the times Ramos attempted to k--- Messi during el clasico.

LIFE WORKS IN A FUNNY WAY.

    Sancho & Varane > Lukaku & Kounde

Forreal though, Lukaku is a top, top player if the system is suited to him - which it will be at Chelsea. He’s a profile you’re missing & could make you genuinely challenge City for the title. The man lives for goals
