    very interesting times ahead in European football.

    The ESL will be revamped & will get the go ahead in the next year imo.

    Real,Barca,Juventus & the Italian clubs not just going to continue to let PSG,City & Chelsea just take all the best players.
    La Liga is in awful shape now.

    yeah sold for 30m 7 years ago.

    Bought back for about 100m at 28 while he wont have many peak years.
    Great deal.

    It’s sad. That’s really the best way to describe it. Messi wanting to stay at the club he’s played for since he was a kid & essentially being forced out is not the way this should have happened. There’s no one person to blame either. Barcelona’s financial situation is f-----; Laporta did everything he reasonably could to keep Messi but La Liga decided to flex its muscles which really left him with no other choice but let Messi walk.

    I said this about Neymar & I was wrong (very close to being right though) but I think we’ll see Messi play for Barcelona again. Even if it’s just a farewell tour type thing for a season. This has undoubtedly left a bad taste in his mouth so I can imagine him wanting to come back to Barca after his 2 years in Paris—if Barca has a solid/competitive squad.

    Aside from that, this season is going to be very exciting. I just hope United sign a CDM because Matic is a part-time player. McFred is nowhere near good enough to win a PL… but it looks like we’re going for another Right Back instead of a CDM lol.

    Bro McFred will be the death of me I swear

    Ideally I’d want Rice but we’ll be priced out of him this year. Camavinga seems our main target although he’s not a DM, but you can’t say no at the quoted price for such a talent. Neves would also be great sitting behind Pogba & Bruno.

    Mate I want Neves as he’s PL proven. He’d do the job perfectly. It’s a shame we’re going to get Trippier instead lol. Maybe if Inter take Martial we could get Neves and Trippier.

    Having said that though, if City get Kane, it’s over already.

    The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Neves. Prem proven & never gets injured too. I don’t think we’re getting Trippier because Dalot is staying now. Martial will get one more season and if he doesn’t perform we may sell him when we go for Haaland next year

    Varane better then Kounde for sure, but you are so wrong in comparing Sancho with Lukaku imo.

    Before anything, they're not even playing on the same position and Lukaku was a top goal scorer at 16-17 and now he's one of the best strikers in the world while Sancho did basically nothing until this point.

    At Sancho's age Lukaku had the same number of goals as the number of matches played by Sancho.

    Lukaku came at Chelsea as a Serie A champion and having the Most Valuable Player award, after Juventus dominated the league for years while Sancho came at United as a DKB Pokal Cup winner lol.

    Messi alone though? lol. There's Neymar, Di Maria & Mbappe (if he doesn't end up leaving) that would contribute to that as well.


    But yea realistically speaking, PSG are the definite contenders to win UCL, but still not a guarantee and anything can happen in football. I mean Messi and Neymar previously were able to win just one UCL and in the following two seasons they got knocked out by Atleti in 2016 & Juve in 2017

    Yeah but only Messi had played his whole life at Barcelona with Pique and Busquets, up until now.
    And now he'd be playing against all of that.

    Not gonna lie i was starting to panic. Man Utd have been bossing the transfer window while Chelsea were hearing the same news about Haaland day after day. Glad to have Lukaku back, the biggest thing we've lacked under Tuchel was goals. Now who do we play around him, got a bit to chose from.

    It's not like we haven't seen this happen before. I don't think the money side bothers Chelsea in the slightest. Espesially since we have to offload 7-8 more players now who wont get any game time and will make up for the 100mil. The biggest problem is finding them a home.

    Haaland was always a difficult one but it was worth a try. If Kane goes to City, Haaland will go to Bayern or United.

    It’s mad that your top scorer in the Prem last season was Jorginho with only 7 goals, mostly penalties lol

    So Premier League, Bundesliga and Primera Division officially started today.




    Tomorrow will be a great day for football we will see Man United - Leeds, Lukaku at Chelsea(maybe), PSG that could start Messi as he took part of the training today, Real Madrid away at Alaves and also Dortmund - Frankfurt another great game to watch between two teams that battled for a champions league spot last year until the last game.
