    I'm interested to know why being on dreamville led to both lute and cozz being somewhat depressed and drinking too much. Cole moaned a lot about being signed to a major label but I don't think being signed to dreamville has helped these guys careers too much, no doubt they getting their bread tho

    It looks like if you ain't Bas, you're not a priority. Let's start with The Off Season. 8 artists on the label to choose from, nobody gets a spot except Bas on not one, but three songs. Cole really could've let 6lack have let go my hand. You barely hear him on it. The promo and hype surrounding the release of The Jackie was a level I've never seen from Dreamville. They didn't even hype Middle Child up that much. And the song turns out to be mediocre to put it mildly. Cole does iheart festival, a big diverse crowd, a big look. Decides not to do any new songs except one: The Jackie. Brings out Bas. Not Lil Tjay, just Bas. Shoots a video the same night. I know from ig that JID and Earthgang were in Vegas with them, but only Bas gets featured in the video (and a zoom in like he's "up next"). Cole is currently on tour and apparently does The Jackie and the other songs every night so Bas is basically on tour with him. I don't get it because Cole is featured on TJ, it's Bas' song. He's not performing Your Heart every night. He could've brought Lute out at the Greensboro show. On the other hand, outside of Ari, JID and Earthgang, Dreamville artists seem to lack drive and ambition. If y'all ever watched the XXL cover s---t behind the scenes Omen looked scared to be there. I don't know what's up. Maybe Cole and Ibrahim do what they can and it just doesn't take, or maybe they're not doing enough.

    Agree with all points tbh, something like family ties. Bas is unique and could be huge internationally but that Jackie song ain't it and they should be experienced enough to know that. For cole to play his song on your every night is crazy. It's hard to know how much responsibility is on the label and how much on the artist. Even JID losing a bit of steam imo

    Jid and earthgang came out at the Atlanta show …. Maybe lute and cozz don’t wanna do them shows, who knows.. cozz ain’t even got no new music out yet … why lute ain’t come out on a date yet?? Idk, maybe it’s him , maybe he nervous to do a big show, lol. And I agree about let go my hand, not that it ain’t didn’t need bas, cause bas was cool on every song he is on imo. But I can’t tell where black is on that song stg lol

    Man, to keep it 100, ain’t none of them dudes on dreamville gon blow up, NONE, no matter what Cole or ib do, that’s just reality. Even they should know that, especially cozz and lute, cause they don’t make the type of music that would blow them up lol. Lute introspective as h---, that s--- only for a certain crowd… I f--- with all of them tho, so I don’t really care if they do or not. Jid might got something with his 21 savage feature tho, we gotta wait and see on that, plus he has an Atlanta advantage, hope bruh take advantage of that, but also don’t lose his true self in the process. Only person gon be big on dreamville is ari Lennox. She lowkey semi big now. Ari is more popular than any of them. I’ve been called that, ari Lennox make good r&b soul music, that s--- will take off quicker than hip hop
