Oct 18, 2021 Walk on Water was a great single, but the album didn’t match the precursor that it set. The rollout, content, sequencing & so on were completely unmatched, it does lead me to believe there was a switch up somewhere between the single release & the track list reveal.

It's funny the idea that he thought remind me and heat were album material not just bonus tracks reminds you of a desperate mad drugged up Em on encore with the good s--- leaking so he does whatever he wants with the album half assing it.
Oct 18, 2021 I honestly never got to like or enjoy Walk On Water. The idea and the concept are good. But I don't like the instrumental. I don't like how Em flows on the song. I don't like the tone he used on it. The cadence is far from what Em is capable of. There's no chemistry between Beyonce and Em (which is usually what happens when artists collaborate over the internet as opposed to be in the studio together).

Oct 18, 2021 I think he was going to make an extremely political album (Campaign Speech, Trump freestyle) which I’m not sure would’ve been much better. Seems he only kept a few cuts for the release: Untouchable & Like Home. Untouchable content was extremely fresh though & the writing was great, if he was to surround that with a better execution then it would’ve gotten much more positive attention.

Oct 18, 2021 I feel like the way it is makes it very unique in his catalog people wanted rap god 2 when they seen the announcement of walk on water so were already preparing for a let down. The song is supposed to sound desperate and nervous so the way it is now fits. I appreciate the little things like you being able to hear him running out of breathe etc sounds vulnerable.
