Oct 26, 2021 Pop fan since the rap I liked is pretty much extinct. The rappers I liked are dead, half retired or found Jesus. It also helps to know when albums might drop, since no one with common sense would drop around big artists. Unless it's someone who barely sells anyway, like Snoop.

Oct 26, 2021 Whats the definition of a sequel though? MMLP and MMLP2? It’s just a name, a cashgrab, tried to make some references and similar cover to get away with it.. But at least it has the name. TES and Encore are totally different titles but a similar cover but doesnt sound the same.. would mmlp be considered a sequel to sslp cause it’s just another persona, there is similar skits, connections with kim and 97 bonnie & clyde. Criminal and SDGAF. Like where do u draw the line? Whats the definition?
Oct 26, 2021 While not explicitly sequels, until mmlp2 eminem albums came in sort of pairs: sslp and mmlp, TEs and encore, Relapse and Recovery. Then mmlp2 f----- it all up
Oct 26, 2021 SSLP to Encore are all somewhat sequels. SSLP and MMLP obviously suggest it with their names and Eminem show, could've just been titled Eminem LP, but he decided to go with the show theme because he liked the idea of the Truman show or something. So Slim Shady, Marshall Mathers and Nemnem is his three personas, it's like a trilogy tbh, but Encore is like the last encore to the show and everything he built. Always felt like it was really going to be his last album back then so encore felt like a bonus goodbye. These albums are more connected and coherent to each other than MMLP and MMLP2 for example.
