Jan 28, 2022 I respect his opinion and somewhat agree, but for me it's more of a loyalty kind of thing... idk if my friend was a rapper I wouldn't say some things in public about his music, I'd tell him where he's f---ing up in private tho
Jan 28, 2022 Do you guys remember when revival dropped and everyone was shi--ing on it and Royce was defending it left and right. Someone asked him if he actually liked the album and he replied "yes I listen to it often I even listen to it while I brush my teeth" LOL.
Jan 28, 2022 Oh yea for sure, no reason to burn bridges in the public eye like that. Unless the person you're talking about is right there with you then I wouldn't advise talking bad about anyone in the industry unless you don't care about losing that bridge (like Erica Banks or somethin)
Jan 28, 2022 He needs to balance that s--- out, not every criticism is an attack and not every nod of approval is genuine f--- him for not doing any more promos btw
Jan 28, 2022 I don't know why people don't remember this lmfao I feel like so much was going on with the huge negative backlash it just got lost in the shuffle but yeah he legit said this
Jan 28, 2022 Do you think Em now sees revival is s-----y too and he'll never admit it? or he still believes it was a great album?
Jan 28, 2022 I remember exactly when Revival dropped, I listened to a couple of tracks at school (literally a couple, or maybe just Walk On Water, Believe and Chloraseptic) and decided it was enough cause I was so disappointed and I didn't even want to finish it. I probably fully listened to it only 2 or 3 years ago lol
Jan 28, 2022 I was ok until untouchable came on, then it was followed by river and that was followed by f---ing remind me, somehow I listened to all of it hoping it would change at some point, thankfully castle came on (Framed was ok too btw)
Jan 28, 2022 This. That he said it publicly was probably the worst of it... not that Royce held this opinion, which isn't a big deal on its own. But to say so prominently -- especially since Royce was seen to be so close to Em that it was surprising to hear him say it at all -- that was what didn't sit well with a lot of people, especially those who were fans of both Em and Royce. It looked like Royce didn't have Em's back. Near as I can tell, that's where the "snake" business started. As for Royce's decision to say what he did -- it's possible he was influenced some by the climate in the US at that moment, a particularly racially-charged period in the aftermath of the George Floyd murder. Royce was presented with the opportunity to publicly defend Snoop's opinion, or not. He chose to support Snoop, for better or worse, and was completely unapologetic about doing it afterward. As a minority myself, I get that. But I still think it was s-----y.
Jan 28, 2022 It was so disappointing cause I didn't enjoy MMLP2 either at the time(I love it now), so I was like "this is how it ends, eminem?" Kamikaze saved his career
