Feb 3, 2022 The highs on MMLP2 are at par with his prime stuff. Had he emphasized about the production and managed the quality for the final product, it would've ended up being one of the finest sequels to an undeniable classic. Still love that album though

Feb 3, 2022 Couldn't care less about how accurate this account is (probably not very), but this makes sense. It took him 3 years to make MMLP2. With the amount he records & with him surprise dropping, it’s more than feasible. I’ve said this before that it wouldn’t surprise me if among all these releases he’s making an undeniable classic lol but maybe that’s just the optimist in me. It would allow him to work on something as long as he would like to without the external pressure from fans to deliver something…which is partly why Revival is awful MMLP3 would surely have Stan part 3 referencing the home intruder - it happened before side B and there’s no way we don’t get a track about that

Feb 3, 2022 Funny thing, first we were like it makes perfect sense to drop before SB, to let the event boost his sales... Now, we are like, it makes perfect sense to drop after SB... I dunno, I will be really disappointed if nothing album related happens at SB... It just doesn't make sense to me to miss the opportunity to either drop it before and let the event boost the sales or not to at least announce it for after... Surprise drop strategy has some sense before the SB, but not much after...
