    Yeah weve gotten that same message quite a few times before

    If you tgink about it theyve been in kyiv or near kyiv for like a day now, and the reason why they got there so quick is because f---ing belarussia let russian troops and tanks come thru from their border
    Gotta keep hoping, its absolutely not over yet

    sad seeing innocent people dying and beautiful city get bombed...

    hope this doesnt escalate into a long war with multiple countries getting involved and no end in sight...f---

    There was never any hope that Ukraine could prevent Russia from overrunning the entire country if thats what russia decides to do though. The only thing they can do is make the experience as unpleasant as possible for the russians via guerilla warfare. NATO/US made it clear it wouldn't risk direct confrontation but they'd happily supply ukraine for a dragged out insurgency.

    Tbh I think Putin bluffed himself into a corner and has to resort to a show of force to save face before retreating back to just the pro russian separatist regions as if to say "see if we really wanted to we could overrun the whole country easily" but russian casualties show it was definitely a bumpier ride than they hoped for

    well yea obviously thats what this is about when you have a smaller nation fighting a bigger one, you're never winning outright and thats how it goes but the point is to not just roll over and give up, the expenses are gonna keep stacking and at some point a whole lot of russians are gonna start wondering how worth it this s--- actually is (bunch of them are already)

    these are the moments when feelings of nationalism can be incredibly vital, and its crazy to see how much strength ukrainians are showing at the moment
