That's just American ignorance for you and looking at the problem through their cultural lenses. What's more globalisation made it so that even people not living there look at certain problems through those lenses as well. It's stupid, but here we are in 2022.

From real war, in which US caused death between 1.5-2 millions of civilian deaths, 415.000 confirmed per US Senate, 65.000 confirmed just by bombing

Yugoslavia - 3.500 civilian casualties just by bombing + thousands of people dying from cancer afterwards due to the exposure to depleted uranium munition.

Iraq - 363.000 civilian casualties since 2003.

Afghanistan - 33.000 civilian casualties confirmed just by bombing since 2001.

But who count them, right... Their lives are not that important because they are not Europeans, white, or it just doesn't count if US planes are raining death from the skies, but not rolling in the countries.

That's the whole point - hypocrisy. When USA goes on the world democracy tour killing thousands and thousands of civilians, but spreading their deaths over the course of many years, that's either collateral damage or just war taking its toll.

But now, 6 days into war, and full fledged war, Russian empire of evil is eradicating lives of the innocent people and must be stopped immediatly.

No one expected full invasion, we were sure he will enter DNR and LNR. place his forces there, prevent Ukraine from direct offensive, and maybe do the same thing like with Crimea.
So, rare ones are supporting this move because the most of us always thought he can handle the West with better geopolitical moves and military moves like he did to save Assad for one.

On the other hand, we have no love lost for the NATO.. And for us NATO is the US... We are surrounded with NATO countries, but still we don't look at them as NATO ones, nor we feel surrounded in some military way... They are just neighbors, even if we had fair share of war with some of them, but people here and now are just sick from the idea of war.

So, beside that, any US intervention in the world we felt quite emotionally and couldn't comprehend where and when is the end, why for the love of God they just don't back off from "spreading democracy" and will ever someone stood to them.

And now we have it, we see this as Russia finally trying to put the end at decades US-led hegemony and their ideas of destabilizing countries and provoking conflics.

But again, this way is not what we were hoping for, not the one we were expecting. And people are just praying for the war to end...

You can’t on one hand acknowledge that countries like Ukraine are sovereign nations capable of making their own diplomatic decisions & then suggest in the same breathe that NATO is just some expansionist arm of the U.S. You know what the best case against having NATO would be? For Russia not to aggressively invade smaller neighboring countries. And even if the Russian invasion only consisted of the DNR/LNR regions, that’s still incredibly problematic & effectively an invasion of Ukraine.

Independent countries making the decision for themselves to join NATO is not the equivalent to Russia invading Ukraine. Nor is it a justification for that action.

We, Serbians, also can't comprehend how western people can be cheering for that kind of moves. look at them like something heroic, because it's just plain stupid. But, we are also mad at Putin because we saw bunch of young soldiers, conscripts being sent into war... I mean, you have one of the biggest armies in the world and you choose to send some 20-years old into battle and save your best and most experienced ones if they are needed.

At the end, they are all the same, no one gives a shi*t for people.... We have choose to live in a world where we are either not thinking with our own heads or we are only a pieces of meat that can always be shred apart by some tank, a bomb, by other armed piece of meat , just because we all lent our lives in hand of so called leaders.
