Apr 24, 2022 There's moments in your life when you realize you're not that big of an Eminem fan as you think. Two of these moments happened in my life 1 was when I seen zolt shady performing an entire Eminem recovery era concert in his living room movements, gestures, duck walking, and talking in the middle of the songs and all. Second was when revival came out I instantly realized it s----d and never looked back. I feel like genuinely believing revival is a good album is some how worse than pretending to be Eminem lol. Also if you're on a first name basis with Eminem and call him Marshall you're a f--.

Apr 25, 2022 Completely agreed. People are so superficial about music nowadays. Those who still try to argue back when you say Revival had heart and actually said things while Encore was dogshit for the most part and try to prove otherwise are just not listenin' to the lyrical content. They wanna hear that trap beat and bump their heads along. Yellow Brick Road was classic, but how many of those Encore had ? Plus, songs like Big Weenie, My 1st Single, Rain Man are really really insultingly bad lyrically and content wise. Revival is overly hated because of the non popular sound it used that came wrong to an average ear. I don't like the production neither but content wise, lyrically that album is miles ahead of Encore. Plus, I still think Castle & Arose are better than Yellow Brick Road. People compare Revival to Recovery but I don't see much of a difference. Both had wack production except few songs, both had wack generic pop hooks. But I think he said more on Revival than he said on Recovery. If anything, I'd rate those albums very close to each other. Like he never actually had lines that make you cringe in his classic albums lol. It wasn't a new thing.
Apr 25, 2022 Peoples reasons of justifying Revival that it’s from the heart and had topics that are serious is laughable to say the least. Apart from Caste and ARose, the album is soulless as it gets. Encore had a concept, theme and soul throughout. The album was just a mess with content and half arsing it. The writing in songs like Yellow Brick Road, Mosh, Crazy In Love, Puke and Evil Deeds is some of his best work. Even the bad stuff in there, all feels like it belongs and same tone. Revival is just mess from start to finish, nothin connects, the amount of pop features were ridiculous, random and added nothing to the poorly executed songs like, like home, nowhere fast, where he is trying to convey a serious topic. Just doesn’t work, like the whole album.

Apr 25, 2022 Revival writing is beyond atrocious. Not just the writing (the production, mixing, features etc. too) but especially - as that's what Eminem is known for... I really think he tried VERY hard with it too. People saying it was lazy; wasn't it said he wrote 10,000 pages or some s---, and how long it took... and then with Kaze after he said 'tried not to overthink this one', so he clearly thought the f--- out of Revival... but that's what's so puzzling... Well, I think maybe it shows... Eminem is actually at his worst when he puts too much effort in. Don't forget MMLP was made very quickly. Because what in the autistic h--- was going through his mind to - on an attempt of a serious political anthem @ Like Home - when he's trying to make a serious point and rally the country against the president - to f---ing say ''this kind of pickle that we're in's hard to deal/dill''... are you SERIOUS?... that's beyond belief.

Apr 25, 2022 I believe the album is f----- up on purpose. Dropping a bad album was part of the master plan. Also think it got more f----- up cause trump never acknowledged the storm cypher.
