May 24, 2022 Just gave this my second ever listen. Much better than the first listen, really enjoyed the album tbh. I have a few gripes, but my main one is the experimental elements of the album enhance the experience overall, but it kinda kills some of the replay value of individual songs. Some of his flows, such as on Mother I Sober, are just wayyyy too long and should've changed up some more. On Purple Hearts, KDot is honestly kind of boring and Ghostface's verse sounds more like spoken poetry than a rap verse, the song only being saved by the amazing production and Summer. This album really does have great production overall, but it just seems slightly lackluster purely from a artistic standpoint.
May 25, 2022 This album is amazing on 4th listen. The production and themes that run throughout it are the highlights. N95 is a top 5 Kendrick song easily.
May 25, 2022 Ngl, not on some Joey type s---, but I've had this playing since my 2nd listen of last night. I'm a f---ing d-ck rider man this really did grow on me like a mf, it's good as h--- from start to finish. I could do without Die Hard and I don't see myself purposely listening to Auntie Diaries outside of a full album listen, but this is good s---.
May 26, 2022 This album doesn’t quite reach the highs of d--- like DNA and FEAR but it’s lows are not as low as LOVE it’s consistently good. More replay value than TPAB. I still think it’s too early to say where it ranks in his discography but definitely not GKMC tier. Top 5 tracks in order: Count Me out, N95, Rich Spirit, Savior, Mr Morale

May 26, 2022 I thought the same, then my power went out and I was vibing to this f---er on repeat. You definitely have to match the energy of the album or it isn't gonna hit imo

May 27, 2022 The Heart Part 5 being added just makes it hit different man. At this rate, might legitimately be my favorite Kendrick album (granted I haven't heard GKMC or section80)
May 27, 2022 GKMC is an essential listen, a classic & a lot of people’s favourite Kendrick project. Highly recommend.
