Jul 31, 2022 Em is taking the Jay Z approach to Game. Remember Game begging for a Jay diss in the mid 2000’s. Eminem is only responding if it’s a direct diss on wax or if game’s album actually translates to charting. Only reason we got Killshot was because MGK actually was charting and going viral. If it was 2002 then yeah Em would be petty, but he ain’t got time for clout chasers.
Jul 31, 2022 Honestly, I prefer the Side B version. Might be because I'm so used to it by now, but I do think the beat switches played in favor of the song. Specially the third verse.
Jul 31, 2022 I’m not sure if it’s because I’m so used to the Side B version but it sounds like someone just kept the original beat going and put an acapella over the 3rd verse where the beat switch is.
Jul 31, 2022 Agreed. I think the best switched complimented it greatly. Best thing about side B was the beat switches. Eminem is always switching flows and can do it well, so it’s sick when he seamlessly switches between beats
