Aug 12, 2022 Hnhh: In the end, The Game's new diss track felt more like a tribute than anything else. The Game claimed that Em has no impact on the culture and that he will never be a legend like the Biggies and Pacs of the world. He does this while mimicking Em's most famous flows, which ends up contradicting The Game's entire point. There are plenty of other disrespectful bars here, especially as The Game takes a swipe at none other than Eminem's daughter, Hailie. These cheap shots are seemingly coming out of nowhere, and fans are not impressed with the direction The Game has gone in. Lmaoo
Aug 12, 2022 Honestly this isn't bad - some of the emulated flows are kind of cool hearing from Game - but dedicating this much time and effort to dissing Eminem in 2022 is so unnecessary and played out. It's not like he brought any new diss material into the mix, either. It's all pretty much just like:
Aug 12, 2022 Calling eminem a wigger and oOoOoOoo mentioning Hailie like we haven't been hearing that s--- for the last two decades smh
Aug 12, 2022 Best part is he actually imitates his good flows from the past instead of going after the choppy style that people actually don't like and would agree lol. I mean he genuinely emulates The Kids flow at one point so if that isn't and indicator of him being a stan I don't know what is. Still need that Em response though
Aug 12, 2022 This new Game album is straight f---ing garbage. Album of the year? 30 for 30 no skips? After a full listen there might be 3 songs worth keeping. 2 of which I already forgot the title. This album is worst than REVIVAL.
Aug 12, 2022 The Game needed to be smarter how he approached the diss artistically. What angle is he actually coming from? Because I don’t know. It contradicts itself as @Michael Myers mentioned, and it isn’t focused. People are clowning it more than praising it… which shocked me. MGK got more respect after his because he had a focused angle, regardless of how sloppy it was
Aug 12, 2022 For a diss track, didnt really start dissing until the 3rd verse. I enjoyed the first 2, but could have done without them. If Album flops, and EM responds...should recycle the "You ain't gon' sell two copies if you press a double album" lyric...30 tracks just about equivalent to two albums
Aug 12, 2022 There really is no reason for Em to respond. Game isn't respected enough. He can't respond to everyone who says something or everyone will keep doing it for sales and attention. I think Em realized this after Killshot.
Aug 12, 2022 Yeah. I changed my mind too. Yesterday not only was I convinced Em was going to respond, but I was dying for him to. Now... not so much. I am yet to see anyone outside of this forum that says Game killed Em or the diss was great or whatever. Quite the opposite. Everyone's saying Game's a fan. Game loves Em. Etc. Lots of verified users on Twitter too. So I think people are seeing it for what it is. A desperate attempt to get Em to reply so that he can boost his numbers like he did with MGK. Em's not gonna.
Aug 12, 2022 I agree. If it felt like Em was getting smoked on social media, it might get him to respond, but if not, I doubt he worries about it. Kinda like when Nick Cannon tried 10 times and then squashed everything. These guys are bi-polar and desperate for attention. People were actually liking MGK's and I think it bothered him. If people would have brushed Rap Devil off, I doubt he would have worried about it. He won't take an L, that's for sure.
Aug 12, 2022 Only reason I want em to respond is because he goes crazy in diss mode, not because Game earned it. I don’t blame Eminem for ignoring it if social media consensus is that Game is a clown
Aug 12, 2022 MGK got more respect because he actually had reasons to diss Em (back). MGK was convinced Em banned him from Shade45 and that he talked to Diddy. Game just created an imaginary beef in his mind because he thought he needed some big controversy for his new album release but he left no doubt in anyone's mind that he actually praises and studied Em.
Aug 12, 2022 At this point, I'm sure EM will just send a few shots in one of his next songs. Maybe as a feature on someone else's track or in his next project. Like he did with Nick Cannon or Snoop Dogg on MTBMB.
Aug 12, 2022 I listened to the whole album and it's pretty good. Some of his better work. He used a ton of classic hip hop samples to help him though. Much better than Born 2 Rap. I hated that album. He actually mentions Em a few times in the album, so definitely a Stan.
Aug 12, 2022 Something that I found a little more disrespectful is that GAme claimed Big Sean was king of Detroit and then features Big Sean in the song after The Black Slim Shady. I wonder if Sean knew about the diss record or if he's pissed he was featured on the album or the very next song on top of that?
