Sep 16, 2022 It’s not right or logical, but they did put several non-hit songs on CC2. If they want to be illogical, put Castle and Arose on there instead of WBD and CM for example
Sep 16, 2022 I thought it was just general knowledge by now that some of the tracks were fan favorites such as your never over, best friend , cinderella man farewell etc. He thinks castle and arose are his best but not enough people heard them so why choose farewell or best friend instead of those 2. Also you said about believe being the same but it's not, because I'm talking about his comment saying the listeners didn't make it to the end of the album to hear castle and arose.. he can't say the same about believe as it was the second track.
Sep 16, 2022 Sure but that wouldn't make more sense anyway bc again, greatest hits have nothing to with the quality of songs. That would be as wrong and non sense as WBD or CM (Btw Cinderella Man might fit there like it might have had some radio plays and s--- like that back in the days lmao) I'm just saying we should be asking why they never promoted and pushed those 2 of the best written Em songs and when it comes to the CC2, we should be asking why WBD or Farewell is there, not ask why not other non popular, non hit songs instead of those...
Sep 16, 2022 I think you don't understand what u read. I didn't say believe is same, I said, you can ask why Believe wasn't pushed as single since it was already doing good compared to some singles he released on that album... Fan favs ? You're Never Over ? It was one of the worst songs on Recovery, it was almost everything people complained about in Recovery and Revival lmao. I doubt it had many fans and lovers. Best Friend wasn't even his song really to begin with but maybe they just did it in favor of Yela (it's kind of a nice promo for Yela) All those non hit songs being on CC2 is dumb a--- f---. So, same would have been said and valid for Castle & Arose too anyway regardless of how great those two tracks are. He should have pushed them as singles in Revival era if anything, not in CC2 era lmao. I'm not sure what's so hard to understand here, it's not like I expect anyone to say "ohh you re right, I was wrong" it's just a simple detail fact I'm tryin' to point out.
Sep 16, 2022 Slowly making my way through the new Crook and Joel. I’d give it a very good 7/10 so far. They’re a good duo, wish the album had a few more features tho.
Sep 16, 2022 this year its about podcast cause the music industry is down economically so I'm not suprised. CC2 and TES Expanded made so much sense in that aspect.
Sep 16, 2022 Is it just this fanbase that's gullible? On here and reddit we have so many people like @muttech03 that believe anything and everything and think that everything relates to eminem. Someone on Reddit just asked "what happened to that Charlie puth/eminem record" Just because Charlie said em in a text message lol em could mean emma, Emily and a buncha other names. Crazy how many peoples lives revolve so much around eminem that they don't even think straight and believe any random on the interweb
Sep 16, 2022 While I agree, even though it's just listing names and gun cocking this intro is cool as f---. So dope, always love listening to it
Sep 16, 2022 Whatever Em said about wanting to rap instead of making music is the biggest pile of bs I've ever read
Sep 16, 2022 It already sounds like a scape goat like “oh well if you don’t like my new album, s--- my d-ck. At least I killed those verses”
Sep 16, 2022 Not like he has Skylar on speed dial and all these fts with huge popstars lol Just make a d--- Versus album and go back to back with all the goats, why even bother tryna make hits if he just wants to rap
Sep 16, 2022 I would agree. I think it would be ok to put 1 or 2 "Rapping" songs on an album, but sometimes he overdoes it. He says that he goes back and listens to his old albums, but I still don't think he gets it. I wish someone would just tell him, the reason those old albums are so classic is that, although you were rapping your a--- off, you could rap along with him. The flow was perfect back then. The triple entendres are fun to listen to once in a while, but not all the time. It's either my age or something else, but I don't think there is a new era song that I can rap along to like I can on some of the first 3 albums. Like, we know you can rap, but can you still make relatable songs or fun songs? I do feel he got the closest to this with MTBMB. He definitely slowed it down a bit on this album. It's a classic to me, I love everything about MTBMB.
