Oct 15, 2022 anyone listened to prophecy? any thoughts on the track besides the obvious facts i can sound like em and it isn’t written to the beat? can someone talk about the fact all the sentiment is my own, not em’s, even while i’m doing shady. how about the assonance, the wordplay, the metaphors, the forum references, the markedly improved attitude, confidence, mic presence and cadence, etc. the second two verses on there are the only new rhymes on this album, otherwise i wrote this album acappella concurrently with cave of wonders. this month i wrote prophecy because i wanted to say some special stuff to go with this new chapter of my posting career while i’m working on the new album
