I know. See the thing is, most of the current active one's (popular) don't really do it for me. But even the Nas album I don't really feel the urge to listen to despite the positive responses. I'm not listening to much music at all lately.

October was all about watching (horror) Halloween movies, and now I barely have time to check out new stuff.

I guess the urge will come back soon and I got plenty of new s--- to check out!

That’s understandable. There’s only so much time in the day, and of course, if you don’t feel the urge to do something, you’re not gonna wanna use up valuable time on it. Since most of the current active popular artists don’t do it for you, you might not be missing out on as much as I thought you were. You seem to be more of a movie guy than a music guy. I’m pretty much the opposite, I don’t watch many movies but I listen to a lot of music

Most times I'm more a music guy too, like that new song @Chrollo just posted is great! But to really dive in someone's catalog... 1. I don't use spotify or torrents so downloading is a b---- nowadays and 2. Because of that its not easy to just get albums, takes more time lol.

And yeah interest is not how it used to be since I'm more busy

Kinda interesting how there ain't a single King's Disease I like from front to the back.
I gotta say Nas is rapping really well and I like the first half very much. But he slowly loses me after that.

    Magic is still my fav.

Yeah, Magic feels more special. KD3 is good but not that replayable imo. Still my RAOTY though.

I’ve only listened to this album once. I guess I gotta revisit it at some point.

Had a good few listens to KD3. Struggling to rank the last 3 albums in my head. All are solid 8's at least to me, maybe 9's. KD3 feels the most consistent but with less proper standout tracks compared to its length. Magic might take the crown but the beat on Ugly is probably my least favourite one across every project. KD2 has a couple of just alright tracks but many that I really love.

    TLDR. What a run

Can't stop bumping KDIII. I think this will be one of those albums that I genuinely go back to years down the line. I really enjoyed 1 & 2 but I think I've spun 3 twice the amount of both of them put together.

I'm going to follow @Worm 's advice and spin the earlier albums to see if I'm seeing things differently but right now this feels like a classic. And it's been a loooong time since I've used that term.

    Nas fans....

I'm going to admit something here, I became a proper fan from Hip Hop is Dead. I was late to the party. Doesn't mean I don't rank him, I absolutely do.

But how would you rank his albums?

I got in to Nas around a year before but Hip Hop Is Dead was the first new album I got from him. I was hyped as f---. Really good project too imo. Kind of overlooked. It's hard to rank Nas albums at this point but I've been listening through a lot of them lately in order to attempt it. Going far too in depth with it ha
