Jun 12, 2023 I don’t wanna compare this next album to anything. I wanna go in with an open mind and have no preconceived notions. If it’s good, it’s good. If it’s bad, it’s bad. If it’s mediocre, it’s mediocre. I believe he still knows how to make good albums. It’s just a question of if he’ll actually have the balls to do it instead of trying to make something for everybody. Lean into an artistic vision and go for it 100% or don’t f---ing do it at all. Relapse was the last time he did that.

I still can’t tell if that “The Hillbillies” single was for Baby Keem’s album or if it really will be a Kids See Ghosts situation where they form a group called “The Hillbillies” and self-title their album as well as having a track with the same name as the group/album. I’m leaning more towards a collab album at this point especially since Kendrick is no longer with TDE and he’s been starting to get active again lately. You never truly know with him so I guess we’ll have to wait and see but I’m open to more music and ready for it, whether it’s solo or with Keem.
