Aug 14, 2023 Realest has now been streamed more than Walkthrough and it's been out less than two weeks lol
Aug 14, 2023 To be fair, Realest is a catchier song than Walkthrough. Plus, Eminem said some controversial things and stirred up beef on Realest. Also, I actually heard of Ez Mil before Eminem signed him whereas I don’t think I ever heard of Grip before he was signed.
Aug 14, 2023 So what are we thinking honestly. A Sept drop? Dident even realize August is pretty much over in few weeks.
Aug 14, 2023 Em will probably let drake drop first and then will use football season to get his name really out there for a Sept drop or some s--- I'm thinking. I thought August for sure but seems doubtful now
Aug 14, 2023 100% agree on the pre hook being awful. I like ems hook/chorus or whatever its called a lot. Em isn't a singer so I don't mind him not sounding percect. And yeah the singing part in the last part is choppy but the beat and verses are perfection imo. I do agree with (I think @ezmiller said it?) that its really out of place on Kamikaze. Like all of it is angry em and then this lol. Also doesn't belong on Revival though... more like Encore.
Aug 14, 2023 I honestly like both but with Realest.. the headlines been IS EM DISSING GAME? and he name dropped Melle Mel. Way more clickbait then WT where he didn't say anything interesting. He flowed on that song though
Aug 14, 2023 Yup. I think that too. I expected something more this year. We got one new Eminem Verse.thats all. #Shadyyear ...I Hope that August is the Eminem's Month. Now I am thinking like U
Aug 14, 2023 Dissing in rap is one of the things that gets people talking the most these days. Ironically enough that’s becoming more and more rare though. Name dropping in general gets people talking a lot Also Realest is the first time in a long time where I liked Eminem on first listen. Normally I feel weird about it until I listen a few more times.
