Dec 16, 2023 Fair, the middle does get really staccato-y but it didn't bother me too much. Could use some extra smoothness though, think that's partially why the Lord Above verse is so praised.
Dec 16, 2023 What can I say. I stopped following Eminem for about two years now. I listen to completely different music, and I haven’t listened to him in about year and a half. New flow and the way he speaks is so powerful and I just love it. he always surprises us and I think he sounds even greater than on music to be murdered by. I think there is a huge potential success that he can create . I love his new voice, sounds like what he was supposed to sound like starting with the recovery
Dec 17, 2023 Em is so out of touch online, it’s comical. He always does this. Can his team at least be professional and post when he drops. Lmfao. His Merch gets more promo than his last several projects. Like hire a better social media manager. You can get one for like $15 a hour.
Dec 17, 2023 So fun to see the fans over the years asking for something that wasn't appreciated back in the days. The accents and now the yelling, inb4 fans starts asking for silly puns in the future
Dec 17, 2023 I see overall people enjoyed his verse. You have a few d*ckheads still complaining which is to be expected. I enjoyed his flow, content, and sound of his voice on this. By how this is executed I get the feeling we may be getting something more closer towards MMLP3 then SSLP2. The verses before the album sometimes always gives us a preview “I am having a relapse” = “Relapse” “Airplanes 2” = “Recovery” “Campaign Speech” / “No Favors” = “Revival” “Chloraseptic” = “Kamikaze” We’ll see what 2024 brings us
Dec 17, 2023 Two great verses in 2023 tbh. Hope he can follow through with a great album. Wonder when Lace It verse was recorded and if it’s more recent than Realest
Dec 17, 2023 About time some semblance of sanity was brought to this discussion. Absolutely fantastic hook by Juice Wrld. Solid Em verse. Appreciate that Em restrained himself from the lyrical miracle competition type flow, especially in the context of a posthumous track. Watched a few YouTube reactions — seems like most completely missed the “way too young to go see me” (i.e., god/Zeus) bar — a subtle bit of humor in the context of a pretty sad song. The transition from Em’s verse to Juice Wrld’s hook at the end is also incredibly affecting. P.S. — Anyone that hasn’t been around for a while owes it to themselves to re-listen to Déjà Vu (top 3 Eminem song) and read Paul/WPG’s review.
Dec 17, 2023 Lace It definitely sounds like an updated style, he’s very scatty when it comes to features but it may be the indication of where the album sound is going as far as delivery. If that’s the case I’m in.
Dec 17, 2023 He mentioned Gangsta Boo overdose in his verse. And she died January this year from a Fentanyl OD so it has to be a 2023 recording
Dec 17, 2023 No Eminem fan wants to hear him have songs and verses about haters, ever again. It’s in the same category as generic love songs at this point. Hopefully he knows this and it’s a big reason why he is taking a break. He won’t ever do a concept album but he needs to, most likely the backlash from Relapse has scared him off, to do anything like that again.
Dec 17, 2023 His last album was a concept album. Dont get more concept then Music to be Murder by. Lol
Dec 17, 2023 The title and promo pics was, that’s about it lol. Could have been called anything and it wouldn’t have mattered. Most of the songs are still Eminem songs that involves himself or his life and the generic topics of haters, love songs. Can’t just make one or two songs that are MTBMB themed/ related and say that’s a concept album because the title of the album has it.
