Man. I stopped posting here and I was here during the JCN days but still remember this s---. Been behind Cole all the way but I had to put my thoughts somewhere.

Cole a fuckboy for this, I'm sorry.

How tf are you gonna talk s--- in your last projects, AND THE PROJECT YOU DROPPED THE REPLY ON, and then pull that s--- back and say that's not you. You get challenged by the best and instantly fold. s---'s put a stain on his career and ruined a lot of his music for me. If The Fall Off got any bars about being the GOAT, the best, a legend, top 3, whatever, s---'s instantly invalid.

This s--- sums up how I feel.

I could be wrong but I honestly feel like IB, Barry and others were in Cole’s ear pushing/rushing him to respond. He probably put that 7 minute drill song on the mixtape because he felt that he couldn’t drop a project without responding to Kendrick. He probably felt bad about it because that is not how he really wanted to attack him.

Oh look another knee jerk reactionary take.

I’ll say it again and again. The thing is…if any other rapper besides Kendrick (and Drake and anyone in Dreamville) truly went hard after Cole he would respond and destroy them. But since him and Kendrick have had a friendship for over a decade now…why would he try to muster up beef with him? It’s all weird. And it’s weird Kendrick went after Drake and Cole to start. It’s attention seeking behavior since he was left off of First Person Shooter and saw Drake and Cole on top.

Every rapper says how great they are and how better they are than their peers. Cole has material and bars to back it up. He didn’t want to muster up fake beef with his friend. It’s not hard to break it down. You think Cole is “scared” of Kendrick? Scared of what exactly? Cole has material where he raps better than Kendrick. Johnny P Caddy, Secret Recipe, Applying Pressure…to name a few. Trying to get into a fake beef made Cole feel a way. It took courage to apologize and end it.

Because since Kendrick and Cole have that friendship is exactly why it would be fine. It hasn't got to get personal but the YT vid explains it (title is clickbait as f---, but that's youtube.) Just trade bars directly at each other about why you're the GOAT. s---'s not gonna get violent between them, especially from Coles side.

Kendricks verse wasn't even violent/personal or attention seeking imo, just competitive. It just looks weak. Either don't reply or reply and fail, NOT pull it back. It's not mustering up fake beef to reply to someone who aimed at you, because if that's the case then clearly Kendrick doesn't care about the friendship as much as Cole.

I agree this will be less of a problem for him down the road, and people will understand his apology more, but if this isn't part of any "The Fall Off" promotion, the camp should really take this L for even releasing 7 minute drill in the first place.

Hope we get a Cole x Kendrick collaboration out of this, but I doubt it

All I’m seeing is grown a--- men in their feelings bout a rap beef lol. I’m thinking bout it s--- kinda crazy lol..

the more I think about it the more this s--- sound silly lol.. no one will ever be locked king of the 3, people like who they like lol. Ain’t s--- kdot or Drake can do to put them over cole imo, so the s--- pointless. n----s be acting like these n----s are some characters, forgetting they really human, and grown a--- men at the end of the day.. all these people wanting beef sounding a lil weird tbr too lol. Hopefully it don’t get there. All 3 clearly was homeboys at one point in time, I could see if they were never cool with each other

remember on 2014 FHD outro, cole was saying we got to show n----s it’s love at the top???? So that’s always been his sentiment on it.. so him doing that lowkey wasn’t out of his character if you think about it..

Me personally, I wouldn’t have had no long speech and said some of what cole said, I would’ve went about it a lil different.. all that it ain’t sit right with my spirit , I couldn’t sleep, did sound kinda weak but some people understand it, it ain’t like cole getting all hate, it’s been mixed, I’ve seen hella ppl say they understand and respect it..

Me, I would’ve sent a lil post out saying it’s all love , that’s it.. and let people interpret what it is themselves lol.. think he went a lil overboard with that speech, as a man that s--- did sound a lil weird, but aye, it is what it is.. s--- history and a moment in time now, got to let this s--- play itself out

Kendrick, Cole, and Drake make completely different albums from each other that can’t be compared. Friends battle rap each other all the time. I don’t know where this idea came from that you have to want to k--- each other to rap against each other for competition. Rap battles used to take place to STOP people from killing each other. Y’all loved Cole force shadow boxing these imaginary rappers on all his verses for the past few years that has now been proven to be phony so why not love a “forced battle rap” too? Make it make sense.
