He clearly saw the reception of where he was going with that feature on that Cordae song no one liked and reassessed. This album was originally going to release sooner but it needed to be reworked as he began to see what people want from him with a clearer mind and began to regain true confidence in himself. His anger over Revival is no longer clouding his judgement. Eminem seems to be in a much better place mentally and I think that could reflect in the album quality.
